CEO's Breakfast Series @CatólicaLisbon intends to bring together a group of reputed CEO's around a table to have breakfast, strengthening the link between the academic and corporate worlds, with the goal of creating a community of leaders.
In an informal environment and for approximately 90 minutes, relevant global themes and trends will be discussed, presented by recognized experts in the field.
This session will take place on March 6, at 8:30 am, with a theme of enormous impact nowadays:
"Sustainable Finance”
Sustainable Financing, in addition to appearing more and more intensely in the norms of the regulators and in the investors' objectives, aims to contribute to economic growth in a context of great concern and urgency in the incorporation of environmental, social and ethical risks (ESG) in the decisions of managers, financiers, insurers and investors. This new financing approach also allows for the development of new financial products (such as Green Bonds) and new asset classes (such as Impact Investment), which are in strong growth, but about which there is still little knowledge.
The session will be led by our invited professor, Conceição Lucas, who has extensive professional experience in the financial industry and leads our Sustainable Finance programs.
