Raquel Gomes da Costa, a post-graduate student in Marketing Product and Luxury Services at CATÓLICA-LISBON and Head Producer at Fuel Lisboa (Havas Group), is participating as an invited jury in Cannes Lions, the International Festival of Creativity that will take place between June 20th and 24th, 2022. The former student of CATÓLICA-LISBON was assigned to help in the first phase of evaluation of the works candidates to a lion in this year's edition, being responsible for the analysis and voting of 350 to 375 works in competition in the Film Craft category.

"It is a huge honour to represent my agency and the country at the most prestigious event in advertising. I feel that the program I attended at CATÓLICA-LISBON in Marketing Product and Luxury Services gave me a more current vision of the luxury brands market, its requirements, challenges, and above all a great learning about consumer behaviour," says Raquel Gomes da Costa.

For the former student, whose main career goal is to enable the accomplishment of creative ideas and help brands to raise and innovate aesthetic standards, the program she did at CATÓLICA-LISBON "was important to understand the circuit, distribution and especially the good practices of the brands. The quality and rules of customer service, across the various areas of operation, brought me a more demanding and challenging vision in the way of working brands and projects".

With over 20 years of experience in event management, advertising and fashion, Raquel Gomes da Costa began her career in event management at FIL and collaborated for several years with agencies in photography and film production. Her path has always been associated with creativity and fashion, the latter a key factor in her career and personal life, where she took on several national and international projects, including directing the Elite Model Look Portugal.
