The Observatory of Portuguese Society (OPS) of CATÓLICA-LISBON performed a study in the second trimester 2016, having the results been released in July 2016.
This study, which assessed 857 participants in July 2016, assessed general indicators of happiness and satisfaction with life in members of the Portuguese Society, within 7 days after the victory of Portugal in Euro 2016. This study also measured the relevance of the victory of Portugal in Euro 2016 and general aspects of patriotism, optimism and happiness related to this victory.
