We are pleased to announce the Patient Innovation Forum Awards, to be held at Católica-Lisbon (room 511), on Nov 9, at 6:00 pm. This is a pre-event of the Patient Innovation Awards Ceremony, which will be held during the Web Summit.
During the Patient Innovation Forum Awards, the laureates from the 2nd Patient Innovation Awards will share their inspiring experiences, as well as the innovations they created to help them cope with their disease or health condition.
The laureates of the 2nd Patient Innovation Award are: in the category “Patients": Michael Seres (UK), Giesbert Nijhuis (Netherlands); in the category "Caregiver": Doron Somer (Israel), and Kenneth Shinozuka (USA); and, finally, in the category “Collaborator": Pavel Kurbatsky (Russia), and Duncan Fitzsimons (UK). Additional speakers include the renowned design specialist, physician and professor at University of Michigan, Joyce Lee; Pedro Oliveira and Helena Canhão, professors and Patient Innovation Project Leaders; and Francisco Veloso, Dean of Católica-Lisbon.
