One important line of research within this group deals with the relationship between strategy and value creation in today’s economies. They address questions such as how and why some firms are able to adapt to changing environments while others fail. Some of the team’s researchers focus on how institutions, strategy and entrepreneurship connect to one another. For example, how do laws and regulations affect the behavior and results of firms?
This group also works on the topic of how entrepreneurship and innovation affect and influence value creation in the private sector. How do firms cope with dynamic environments through innovation? How are new business opportunities discovered in these changing backdrops?
