CATÓLICA-LISBON is once again outstanding in the Financial Times Global Rankings as it remains one of the best European Business Schools. A recognition confirmed annually and since 2007 by the Financial Times.
In Europe, the School occupies the 32nd position, in a ranking that in 2019 included the best 95 European Business Schools.
Contributing to these results is the confidence of the employment market in CATÓLICA-LISBON’s graduates, which is manifested in unique employability levels – 96% of the students placed in the national and international employment markets in less than 3 months, as well as in the levels of international career progression within 3 years (10th place in the world).
CATÓLICA-LISBON is also the most international school in the country, with 40% of foreign professors from countries as diverse as Germany, Italy, Egypt, Greece, France, Colombia, Brazil, Ukraine or Canada, as well as about 54% of foreign students attending master's degrees and a growing diversity of international initiatives in Executive Education with partners of global reference.
Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics is once again very well positioned in the Financial Times Global Rankings, remaining among the Top European Business Schools. A recognition with more than 12 years confirmed annually by the prestigious ranking of the Financial Times that globally ranks the best Business Schools in Europe.
Currently in 32nd place, among the 95 schools selected, CATÓLICA-LISBON was the first Business School in Portugal to be included in this Financial Times list, achieving outstanding positions since 2012.
For Filipe Santos, Director of Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, "it is a matter of great pride for us to be consistently, year after year, very well positioned among the best European Business Schools. These rankings confirm the excellence and quality of our School's teaching and research, which acts as a launching pad for an exceptional professional future of our students. Proof of this is the employment market confidence in our graduates, which manifests itself in unrivalled employability levels of 96% within 3 months and a position in the top 10 worldwide in international career progression. But we want to do more and better, so we have now announced an ambitious investment in a new campus of Universidade Católica that will host CATÓLICA-LISBON – a modern physical space designed to provide a unique experience in the heart of Lisbon, privileging the diversity of cultures and reflection on knowledge and action with impact on society. A building prepared for interactive learning experiences and digital and lifelong learning models".
