Become an Exchange Student
If you want to study at CATÓLICA-LISBON, simply activate one of the 145 bilateral agreements that the School has with prestigious and accredited schools around the world, including the best in numerous countries.
Each year, we host an increasing number of incoming exchange students from our partner schools. Our own student population has a mobility rate approaching 80%, with almost all our Undergraduate and Master students going abroad on an exchange semester.
As an exchange student coming to CATÓLICA-LISBON, you can expect an interactive learning environment, an international class and faculty (43% of our faculty members are international and coming from 15 different countries) and a city that is regarded as one of the most desirable European capitals.
As a CATÓLICA-LISBON exchange student, you can attend a Portuguese language course and participate in the many activities we organize, like the welcome week, social dinners and sightseeing visits.
The Welcome Day occurs before or during the first week of classes and it is a very important part of your stay both at CATÓLICA-LISBON and in Portugal. Every semester, the International Relations Office prepares special activities to introduce you to the university and the city.
Our primary goal is to help you get to know our school and other Exchange Students in a short timescale. We believe the activities organized during the Welcome Day hasten the integration of the exchange students, facilitating contact with the other students and providing all the necessary information about the school and life in Lisbon.
