Eduardo Moradas received his Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Business Administration at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and he received his MBA at INSEAD, with major in Finance and Marketing.
He has been a guest speaker and lecturer at Católica Lisbon School and other leading academic institutions.
He is a senior executive with CEO / General Management experience.
He is now Head of Strategy, Planning and Control at CGD – Caixa Geral de Depósitos.
He has worked 25 years in financial services (in CGD and in Novo Banco Group, before BES Group), 16 in banking and 9 in insurance. Previously he has worked 8 years in management consulting (Mckinsey & Co and Roland Berger & Partners), serving clients in financial services, distribution, food industry, tourism and textile industry.
He is a multi-lingual, multi-cultural manager, having lived and worked in different countries such as Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Brazil or Libya. He has led vast and diverse teams of more than 1000 people and he has a strong experience of creating, developing and managing both proprietary and non-proprietary sales forces (in financial services and insurance, in Portugal, Spain and Brazil).
He has developed several pro bono activities, among which Member of the Strategic Council of IES-Social Business School, Board Member/Global Director of INSEAD Alumni Fund and President of the Board of INSEAD Alumni Association in Portugal.
