Isabel H. Correia got her undergraduate degree in Economics at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (1980) as well as the PhD (1993), with the thesis "Growth in Open Economies". Since then is Professor (since 2004 Full Professor) at CATÓLICA-LISBON and belongs to the Research Department of the Banco de Portugal. Her main area of research is Macroeconomics, more specifically Growth, Business Cycles, Fiscal and Monetary Policy and Distribution.
