Peter Rajsingh's areas of specialty are finance and social theory; corporate governance, business ethics and professional responsibility; U.S. constitutional law; social and political philosophy; and creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. He works at an alternative asset management firm and serves on the boards of a number of private companies and charitable institutions. Professor Rajsingh received CAS's Outstanding Teaching Awards in 1993, 2000, 2001, and 2008 and he was a speaker at the first NYU TEDx event in 2012 (tedxnyu.com/talks). His most recent publications are a chapter in the anthologyThe Possibilities of Creativitypublished by Cambridge Scholars and an essay on the Global Financial Crisis in an edited volume entitledFinance and Economy for Society.He also writes frequently in the popular press.
