In order to be able to apply to the CATÓLICA-LISBON Summer Academy program (100% taught in English), you must be an Undergraduate / Bachelor student from any academic background or a recent graduate with less than two years of work experience [University students aged between 18 and 26 (average age: 22 years)]:

• STEM fields: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
• Business Administration & Management
• Social Sciences, such as anthropology, archaeology, communication studies, economics, history, human geography, jurisprudence, linguistics, political science, psychology, public health, and sociology
• Foreign Languages & International Relations Studies
• Fine & Applied Arts

Early Bird phase

Early Bird application deadline is March 31^st, 2022.

Application during the Early Bird phase is strongly recommended for students who need a visa to enter Portugal.

If you are admitted by the admission jury as an Early Bird phase applicant and in order to secure your slot, you shall make a full payment of the program fee and provide us with a proof of payment:

• until March 17^th, 2022 or
• within 7 calendar days after the date of admission, if you applied during the last three weeks of the Early Bird phase.

Failure to do so will automatically cancel your admission without prior notice and free up your slot for another candidate.

 

Standard phase

Standard application deadline is May 24^th, 2022.

If you are admitted by the admission jury as a Standard phase applicant and in order to secure your slot, you can make a full payment of the program fee and provide us with a proof of payment within 7 calendar days after the date of admission.

Failure to do so will automatically cancel your admission without prior notice and free up your slot for another candidate.

If you fulfill our Application Requirements and wish to apply for one of our CATÓLICA-LISBON Summer Academy programs, you must fill in and submit an Application Form as well as provide us with the following documents:

Mandatory:

• Curriculum Vitae in English
• Motivation letter in English
• Updated Transcript of Records of your Undergraduate / Bachelor program  (either a scanned version of an official Transcript of Records or a print screen of your Home University personal student area) *
• Certificate of University Enrollment (or Certificate of Company Employment, if applicable) - duly signed and stamped - issued by your Home University (or Company, if applicable) in the past 30 days
• Photograph with blank background

 

* If you have started a Master program, you must provide the Transcript of Records of both your previous Undergraduate / Bachelor program and your current Master program.

IMPORTANT: In order to benefit from the Exchange Partner School discount, you must be currently enrolled at a university or school, which holds an exchange agreement with CATÓLICA-LISBON.

 

Optional (highly recommended):

• Proof of English proficiency, including TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT, GRE, Cambridge Certificates, among others (if you are not a native English speaker)

IMPORTANT: There is no Application Fee.

Upon receipt of your application, our admission jury will carefully analyze your application documents and make a decision based on multidimensional admission criteria:

• Academic background
• Academic performance
• English proficiency
• Level of motivation

 

Within approximately 2 weeks after the submission of your application, we shall inform you of the decision of our admission jury, which is final and conclusive.
